Our outdoor Stay & Play sessions are designed for children aged 0–5 years and their caregivers. Created by qualified Early Childhood Teachers, these playgroups provide enriching, nature-inspired opportunities for little ones to explore, create, and connect, while fostering meaningful moments between parent and child.

Join us at Rotary Park in Maungatapu, where we’ll gather under the trees at the far end of the park. With open green spaces and a peaceful harbour setting, it’s a beautiful place to slow down, explore and enjoy outdoor play together.

Our play stations are thoughtfully set up to support all ages and stages of development, with a mix of low tables, ground-level trays, and open-ended materials for sensory exploration. Children can engage in ways that suit their abilities and interests. We believe there’s no such thing as a single “age-appropriate” experience. Every child, from a curious 6-month-old baby to a confident 5-year-old explorer, is competent and capable. Each child will discover, explore and play differently, and all are encouraged to engage at their own pace in a safe and supportive environment.

It’s the perfect morning to slow down, connect, and share in the simple joys of outdoor play. We can’t wait to see you there! 🌞

What to expect:

πŸ§’ Opportunities for child-led play and discovery inspired by nature.
🎨 Engaging creative, sensory, and hands-on activities to spark curiosity.
πŸ’• A warm, inclusive space where parents and caregivers feel supported and connected.
🐌 Gentle moments to pause, slow down, and enjoy quality time together.
🧺 Bring along a picnic blanket and some kai. It’s the perfect spot to relax, share food and enjoy the morning outdoors.
🚻 Toilets are available on site. Please note that changing facilities are limited, so come prepared.
