Benefits for Your Child

The greatest advantage for children attending our Wildling Haven playgroups is the opportunity to learn alongside their parents in a supportive environment. We encourage children to embrace their "wild side," freeing them from the pressures of a fast-paced life. Here, they can be present, engaged, and truly free to explore their interests, fostering a magical learning experience. A child that is interested is a child that is engaged, this is where the magic of learning happens.

What to Expect as a parent

At Wildling Haven, parents and caregivers are welcomed into a non-judgmental, supportive environment where they can feel safe to play alongside their children and even reconnect with their own inner child.

It’s a space for both adults and little ones to learn, grow, and connect together, while building friendships with others on the same journey. Here, we slow down, stay present, and give one another the gift of time and attention.

Leave the mess with us, and take home cherished, fun-filled memories.

What to Bring?

Being wild and free means embracing the joy of getting dirty and messy! To help your child make the most of every session, we kindly ask you to ensure they come prepared. Here's what to bring:

Weather-appropriate clothing: Dressing in layers helps your child stay comfortable in changing conditions.

Waterproof overalls: Allows children to get wet and messy without the worry.

Gumboots / Appropriate footwear: We like to tackle all terrains within our nature play sessions.

Hats: Essential for sun protection, or cozy in cooler months

Sunscreen: Protect their skin while they enjoy the outdoors.

Changes of clothes: Expect your child to get messy and dirty, they might need a change of clothes after the session.

A water bottle and snacks: We know children enjoy snacks and need to be hydrated.

Picnic Blanket: Enjoy a moment.

Please dress your child in clothes that can get messy—because getting messy is all part of the fun and adventure!
