Our outdoor Stay & Play sessions are designed for children aged 0–5 years and their caregivers. Created by qualified Early Childhood Teachers, these playgroups provide enriching, nature-inspired opportunities for little ones to explore, create, and connect, while fostering meaningful moments between parent and child.
Join us at Moa Park in Mount Maunganui, where we can enjoy the fresh air, open green spaces and natural surroundings. It’s a lovely setting for a relaxed morning of outdoor play and connection.
Our play stations are thoughtfully set up to support all ages and stages of development, with a mix of low tables, ground-level trays, and open-ended materials for sensory exploration. Children can engage in ways that suit their abilities and interests. We believe there’s no such thing as a single “age-appropriate” experience. Every child, from a curious 6-month-old baby to a confident 5-year-old explorer, is competent and capable. Each child will discover, explore and play differently, and all are encouraged to engage at their own pace in a safe and supportive environment.
Our Coastal & Ocean Explorers session will bring the wonders of the seaside to life through sensory, creative and nature-inspired play. We’ll invite our wildlings to explore ocean-inspired textures, discover natural treasures and follow their curiosity through hands-on experiences. The theme is simply our starting point. We provide the invitations and materials, and your wildling gets to decide where their play takes them.
It’s the perfect morning to slow down, connect, and share in the simple joys of outdoor play. We can’t wait to see you there! π
