Join us at Kulim Park, Ōtūmoetai. We will meet at the entrance gate under the trees, overlooking the harbour. Together we’ll enjoy the fresh air, open green spaces, and seaside views as we play and explore.
Our outdoor Stay & Play sessions are designed for children aged 0–5 years and their caregivers. Created by qualified Early Childhood Teachers, these playgroups provide enriching, nature-inspired opportunities for little ones to explore, create, and connect, while fostering meaningful moments between parent and child.
Our play stations are thoughtfully set up to support all ages and stages of development. With a mix of low tables, ground-level trays, and open-ended materials for sensory exploration, children can engage in ways that suit their abilities and interests. We believe there is no such thing as a single “age-appropriate” experience, every child, from a curious 6-month-old baby to a confident 5-year-old explorer, is capable and competent. Each will discover, explore, and play differently and all are encouraged to engage at their own pace in a safe and supportive environment.
And if you forget your morning coffee (or simply deserve a little treat!), you’re in luck! Kulim Park is home to“C4 Street Food and Espresso”, serving delicious coffee, and tasty bites to keep you fuelled.
What to expect:
🧒 Opportunities for child-led play and discovery inspired by nature.
🎨 Engaging creative, sensory, and hands-on activities to spark curiosity.

🐌 Gentle moments to pause, slow down, and enjoy quality time together.
🧺 Bring along a picnic blanket and lunch, it’s the perfect spot to relax, share food, and soak up the morning sun.
🚻 Toilets are available in the park. Please note these do not have changing facilities, so come prepared.
